What are the details of the promotional procuration fees?
For all cases referred after 17/11/2011 that subsequently drawdown on or before 31/03/2012, IBB will pay a procuration fee of :
- HPP 0.35% (Gross)
- BTLPP 0.5% (Gross)
This promotion is a limited offer and can be withdrawn at any time by IBB without prior notice.
What do I need to do to register?
To register please complete a broker registration form and introducer agreement.

Are there any special authorisation requirements to write new business?
Yes. In order to write Home Purchase Plan (Islamic Home Finance) business you must have the relevant permissions either via the FSA or your network.
If I don’t have the Home Purchase Plan permissions can I just refer clients to IBB?
Yes you can. There is a referral process in order for you to send your referral online.

Do you pay procuration (proc) fees, and if so when are they paid?
IBB pay competitive proc fees for both written business and when you refer clients. Payments for both are made on the 10th of each month for the previous month’s completions.
Do the Purchase Plan products appear on any sourcing system?
Yes, on Trigold and Mortgage Brain.
Are Purchase Plan products available in Scotland?
Home Purchase Plan is available in Scotland. Please click here for more information.
Buy to Let Purchase Plan is currently not available in Scotland.
What support is offered to Intermediaries?
Help is on hand via the Introducer helpline number (0121 456 7842) and email (ibb.intermediaries@islamic-bank.com), plus arrangements can be made for a visit to your office. We also offer training as part of the support for you.
Will I be able to offer quotes for clients?
Yes. Our online calculator will help show your client the cost as part of the affordability calculation.

Can you provide any posters or leaflets that I can use to promote the Home Purchase Plan?
Yes. We can provide A1 poster and A5 flyers that you can use for marketing purposes. In addition, we have a number of templates that we can send you should you wish to send out an email shot. Please call the Introducer helpline (0121 456 7842) to discuss this further.
